The carbon fiber pattern on an AUTOart model car is predominantly tampon printed (using a PU pad to print mono color on the surface). However, there are many small area of the model car body where the pad of the tampon printing cannot reach i.e. the inner surface and edges of a vent opening. Making the carbon fiber pattern on such area requires the use of water decals cut into different shapes, of which piece by piece are laid carefully on the area by experienced worker. Making model car with carbon fiber body, inside and outside like the Pagani, is a very labor intensive and costly process.
